London Nightlife
Apart from the pubs and clubs, there are many music venues. Among the best known are Shepherds Bush Empire, Brixton Academy, Hammersmith Apollo, Wembley Arena, The Marquee, The UCL Bloomsbury, Albert Hall and the London Astoria. London is home to many clubs such as the Ministry of Sound.

Carling Academy Brixton
The Carling Academy Brixton is a large music venue in Brixton, South London with a capacity of 4,921. It was built in 1929 and opened as one of four Astoria cinemas. In 1972 the Astoria closed and the building was used as an equipment store by the Rank Organisation.
Wembley Arena
Wembley Arena is a world famous live entertainment venue, located in Wembley, London. The building is opposite Wembley Stadium. It was built for the 1934 Empire Games and originally housed a swimming pool, as reflected by its former name, the Empire Pool. The pool itself was last used for the 1948 Summer Olympics.
