London Art Galleries
There are many, many galleries in London - from wide ranging public galleries to smaller, specialist galleries, and selling galleries.
National Portrait Gallery
The National Portrait Gallery is a wonderful museum tucked next to the National Gallery.
National Gallery
The National Gallery on Trafalgar Square is perhaps one of the most important places to visit whilst in London.
Riverside Studios
One of London's flagship cultural centres. Has a cinema which shows mostly arthouse films, theatre space for plays and an art gallery space. Plays tend to be on the low-budget, experimental end of the scale.
Tate Britain
The art gallery formerly known as the Tate is now the Tate Britain. Whereas the National Gallery exhibits very historical works and the Tate Modern exhibits modern art, the Britain shows the intervening works by British artists.
